Play, Cocktails and the Creative Process

Play is the heart of the creative process, it is the expression of creative freedom. Without pretext, context or isms, artists can play with objects in a immediate environment. This set of images is from Peter's first encounter with seeing Todd's work. After packing up our show for SOFA New York, we (Peter and I) had a few cocktails at Bar Marche in New York City, and played with found objects Todd sent us. Todd, thank you so much - it's going to be a great collection. with love and friendship, Sue and Peter

Until the beginning of May, we also have an intern, Emily from Canada - cool, eh! Peter and I feel very lucky to have such a great team supporting us. We nicked them the 'A-Team'!

Introducing the Fabulous Master Goldsmiths Maths and Saskia in our Studio at Atelier Zobel

Hi Todd, I'm really excited to introduce our team. In this video you'll meet Maths, the leader of our workshop and Master Goldsmith and Saskia, also an extremely talented Master Goldsmith. In Germany a Master Goldsmith must work as a goldsmith for five years, then complete a two-year training program and pass a comprehensive exam.
