Patina Gallery in August, "Rock the House"
Patina is thrilled to watch the unfolding "jewelry exchange project" between the two inimitable artists, Peter Schmid of Atelier Zobel and Todd Reed. This August, Patina will proudly premiere their collection of one-of-a-kind collaborative works! Watching the artists on their blog, sharing and exchanging creative ideas, is fun and we enjoy their playful spirit.
We are excited to see what surprises await us when the new work arrives and of course, also look forward to the amazing signature works each artist will bring! Peter and Todd will definitely "Rock the House!"

First sketch of 'Urban Rose', by Peter Schmid
The silver frame and cube of 16 raw diamonds are from Todd Reed. Peter added a natural carved coral rose and composed the piece by juxtaposing the two elements -- a story unfolded. Peter is inspired from nature in a urban context, so this piece is a little bit about a flower surviving in an urban jungle, one beautiful rose in concrete garden... like something the grew between the sidewalk.
first sketch of diamond cuff by Peter Schmid
Todd, we're so excited about this piece, we're thinking it would be great to do a matching ring!!! What do you think?
Peter Schmid and our Fabulous team review the pieces from Todd Reed
Peter Schmid, Maths, Saskia, Ferdinand and Niels discuss the design possibilities of the pieces Todd Reed sent for the collaboration
